Celebrate at the Werkhof
After the office hours, there is hardly a weekend without celebrating on the grounds of the Werkhof Hannover Nordstadt – birthdays, graduation parties, company parties and many weddings in the warm season.
The dining room of our restaurant Zwischenzeit, offers a very special atmosphere. The terrace, our green oasis, can be optionally used in good weather. In the interior, much emphasis was placed on the reference to the Werkhof and its history. Professionally prepared photographs of historical motifs represent these impressively. Up to 50 people can be festively decorated for all guests, the bar is at your disposal and there is room for live music and dancing.
The “Foyer” is the second largest room in the Werkhof. Quiet with direct access to two idyllic green courtyards, the “Foyer” can be prepared for almost any occasion. All-round window fronts bring a lot of light and embody generosity. On 120sqm, the “foyer” offers space for dance floor, DJ or live music, up to 70 fixed seats at tables as well as food buffet and bar.
Our “Hävemeier & Sander Hall” was built at the end of the 19th century as a factory hall and at the beginning of this century we converted it into a high-quality and versatile event space. The “hall” impresses with its deliberately preserved industrial architecture and its historic industrial charm in harmony with modern event technology.
Food at the Werkhof
With great attention to detail, the chef of the restaurant will spoil you with German and international dishes inspired by Mediterranean influences. In addition to a modern selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, we spoil you with traditional and newly interpreted meat and fish dishes. Our menu is complemented by weekly creations. Our kitchen team regularly develops new recipes together with the best ingredients.
Staying at the Werkhof
The Hotel Schlafgut is located on the grounds of the Ökologischer Gewerbe- und Tagungszentrum Werkhof Hannover-Nordstadt. The city can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. In our 39 rooms, we expect a concept of clean lines and economical, but effective details that combine warm colors in vanilla, cream and terracotta variants.
